Busy weekend for Inside Job…

The weekend of 3rd and 4th September 2010 saw a whole host of weddings taking place all over the Island, at two of which the band performed and continued to uphold their well deserved reputation as Jersey’s number one party band.

On the Friday, the band breathed new life into a 1200 year-old Gorey Castle and kept a willing crowd packed onto the dance floor all night. The Saturday saw Inside Job’s first performance at the popular St.Aubin restaurant, The Boathouse, where the band revelled in a wonderful atmosphere and even had the chefs dancing in the kitchen! On Sunday 5th September, Inside Job’s Michele and Paul performed at the annual Jersey Live festival, taking to the stage in the VIP Hospitality tent. Assuming the apt title of ‘The Flower Singer’, Michele treated the audience to a selection of her original songs, including the quirky, likeable, and highly entertaining ‘Dog Song’, accompanied by Paul on drums and percussion. A truly packed but successful weekend for Inside Job!

Michele nets Jersey Live spot!

Inside Job’s Michele Horwood has been given a fantastic opportunity to promote her own original tunes when she performs at this year’s Jersey Live. Michele, who will be performing under the name ‘The Flower Singer’, can be seen in the hospitality tent at 2.00pm on Sunday 5th September, accompanied by some of her Inside Job band mates. We’re sure you’ll join us in wishing Michele the best of luck for her performance!

Inside Job vocalist Michele Horwood showed her star quality, performing live at the popular Regstock eco-festival held in Jersey last weekend. On her debut performance at the festival, she wowed the crowd singing a selection of her own original compositions, accompanying herself on piano. Michele endeared herself to the audience with quirky tunes such as ‘Ducks in a Row’ and ‘Pigeon Hole’, and the captivating ‘Flowers’ and ‘Duchess’. It was a landmark achievement for Michele who has been writing her own material for many years, and judging from the crowd’s reaction, we will be seeing a lot more of Michele in the near future!

It’s been confirmed today that Inside Job will be performing LIVE AT THE DRIFT on Friday 22nd October! The band are delighted to be playing one of Jersey’s best live music venues and are promising a fantastic show. So, put the date in your diaries folks and get ready to dance your socks off!

Busy times!… After a fantastic night at Jersey’s Mont Orgueil Castle, Inside Job went on a run of truly memorable performances. Starting with the Diabetes Ball at the Royal Yacht Hotel on 5th June, preparations then began for the NSPCC Summer Ball at the stunning Trinity Manor on 10th July. Last week saw the band rock out at Jersey’s Living Legend, as the Jersey Trust Company celebrated their summer event. The bookings are coming thick and fast now, and an exciting announcement should be coming your way very soon!

Inside Job made their return to the stage last night with a superb performance at Jersey’s spectacular Mont Orgueil Castle! New members, Hollie McVittie (vocals) and Martin Coxshall (keyboards) stepped up to the mark and with their fellow band mates gave a memorable evening to the wedding guests in attendance. Next up is a charity ball on Saturday 5th June for the Jersey Diabetes Association, to be held at the Royal Yacht Hotel. We hope you’ve got your tickets for what promises to be a fantastic night!

Inside Job welcome two new faces to the band! It is with great pleasure and excitement that we introduce Hollie McVittie (vocals) and Martin Coxshall (keyboards) as the most recent additions to the team. Hollie joins us on backing vocals and has already shown great promise and will certainly be one to watch for the future. Martin’s experience, versatility and tremendous talent on keyboards is a huge plus for the band and together, their addition to the Inside Job family will ensure even greater success in the future. Welcome aboard Hollie and Martin!

It’s been a wonderful year for the band, with some amazing performances at some truly magnificent venues to incredible audiences, which have included VIP’s such as HRH The Princess Royal and the Chairman of EMI Records.
